Description
Practical part of the Master’s Thesis included research and conservation treatment of a mock-up representing a folk dance from Auvergne region in France, made for the International Exhibition in Paris in 1937. The conservation works consisted of a partial, indispensable disassembling for the period of the treatment, cleaning, consolidation and strengthening of the parts of clothing and wooden base. The original poses and composition of the figures were restored during re-assembling of the object. At the top – the object before conservation, at the bottom – after conservation.
