Description

The exhibition with an area of around 410 m² presents the intertwining marine topics: the sea, shipping and marine space shown through stories of sailors and participants in cruises of the Sailing School and via maritime art and literature. The topic of sailing shows the way of experiencing the sea and shipping closely during a cruise on a training sailboat. The topic of the sea introduces the visitor to the power and beauty of the sea, which is depicted in three various states: during storm, during calm weather and at night. Maritime paintings and fragments of literary texts are presented in the parts of the exhibition related to this topic.
