‘Personae – Melancholy’ Melancholy gets us unexpectedly and forces us to reconcile it with mechanically performed duties. For some time, we live in a different reality that is inconsistent with our habitual approach to life and the way of coping with everyday life. We often masochistically nurture our own melancholy without being able to explain its cause.
