Description
Conservation works were conducted as part of coursework in the 5th year of studies’ program. The activities included technical and material analyses, photographic documentation of the chasuble and its disassembling for the period of the treatment, as well as cleaning of the frontpiece of the chasuble and lining it with a silk support fabric. Authors of the presented stage of conservation works – left side of the chasuble: Emilia Przybyszewska, column: Karolina Ludwiniak, left side: Magdalena Żmuda. On the left we can see the object after a partial disassembling, on the right – after lining of the textiles.
