Description

Practical part of the Master’s Thesis included research and conservation treatment of a white fan from the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The conservation works consisted of removal of old repairs, cleaning of textile parts and the frame, consolidation of the covering textile and lining, reconstruction or the paper trimming and coloristic unification of its painted decoration. At the top – the object before conservation, at the bottom – after conservation.
