Description
In the case of contemporary art objects, the relationship between matter and meaning is usually ambiguous and non-obvious. The meanings are individual for individual artists as well as for the materials used. Defining the message of a work becomes a complex task as various factors influence the meaning of a work. In addition to the matter itself and the direct artistic vision, the non-material aspects often also have an influence. Therefore, in order to understand the author’s assumption – the possibility of an interview with the artist becomes the primary source of reference. In this case, we are dealing with an unusual medium of work.
