Description

The sounds recorded by me are a kind of documentation, attesting the degree of wear of selected public facilities located in Warsaw and Białystok. Time leaves its mark on elements of public space, such as doors, gates, housing-estate gym equipment or playground devices. The ageing of individual mechanisms remains unavoidable. Part of the recordings was transformed, some of them becoming considerably different from their original form. The final outcome is a musical piece, which is a composition of the aforementioned audio files.
